This is a picture of the Saugeen River, Saugeen translated from Ojibwe to English means ' Mouth of the winding river '.

The biome is located in any river,pond,lake,stream or creek where fresh water goes.


2. What is the climate like (what is the temperature and the weather)?

The temperatures in the Winter are 0 degrees celsius to 4 degrees celsius, in the Summer the temperatures are 4 degrees celsius to 22 degrees celsius.
In the fall and spring the top and bottom layers of water mix together and the temperature is 4 degrees celsius, the middle layer of water is usually 4 degrees all year round.

Almost any plant can live in the fresh water biome (grass, trees and weeds).Most comman plants and trees can be found near the biome.

An example of a fresh water biome is the Saugeen river, there are most plants, grasses and/or trees.
The Saugeen river has most comman fish and has deer, turkey voltures, eagles, comman birds, snakes, turtles.
